Former Owner Of Golf Resort Shuts Off Water Supply

By: Rob Harris

Perhaps when the new owner purchased what is now known as The Idaho Club out of foreclosure, it should have paid closer attention to the club’s name. Known then as Hidden Lakes Golf Resort, more than thirty resort homeowners found themselves on April 12 without water and septic services.

According to a published report, the club does not own the source wells that sustain the systems. Ownership of the wells lies with a utility company owned by the prior owner who cut off the water supply. A local court has since entered an order requiring water to be provided, while the legal dispute plays out.
